you all may be wondering who i am. well, i'm the student's president of this year, Li Hua. the only motivation makes me stand here is that i have the responsibility to tell you the simple rules about the friendly speech match.
above all, you all might already noticed on the board, the topic of this year's competition is "the english novel i like best". we named this as the intention to improve students' oral skill and let students read more. also, this means all the speeches should close or about english novels.
now, please allow me to do some introduction about the rules. first of all, every speechifier has 5 mins at most, that means they will have a hard time, cuz i know they must have a lot to talk about. the second, it's also a important standard for the umpires to grade, all the participants need to have great speeches with clear pronunciations and great fluency.
after my long boring introduction you all must be already impatient to wait. well, let our participants came out and start their best speeches they have ever had.
